Details Security Policy on Mail Server Being Enhanced

Hello Everyone

For last month or so we have faced several issues of password hacking for quite a few ID's on the mail server on several domains hosted on the Shared Server. Resulting in SPAM being sent under those ID's by Trojans / Hackers which have gone as high as 300,000 mails within few hours which results in delay delivery of legitimate mails and our IP's get blocked / black listed by mail server around the world.

On the first instance we requested our clients to increase the strength of the password being used but users continued to use the same easy password for their own convenience, putting our business in danger.

We have no option but to enforce the new password regime for the mail server.  All the existing password will expire automatically and you would be asked to change the passwords to 8 characters with the following condition. The password must have One Capital Letter , One Numeric Digit , One Special Character  example as follows :  J7&6ght$  or  by7%8UtY

This is being made effective immediately.

For those who need our assistance please submit a ticket on the help desk and my team would be happy to assist you and make changes for you should you need it.

We appreciate your understand and cooperation in this regard.

Assuring you of our best services at all times.

Thanks and Best Regards

Javed Khamisani
